Congratulations to the Romanian U18 Team, the new U18 European Champion! It was a dramatic basketball match, in which the Romanian team came back from behind in the last minutes to conclude a 63 – 61 victory.
We are proud to have been one of the most important advocates and supporters of the Global Vision U18 European Championship Women 2010, which took place between July 29 and August 8, 2010, in Timisoara.
Our involvement in this event is a genuine testimony to the way we choose to live our Global Vision. We cherish young and dynamic professionals, committed towards goal-oriented work, integrity, communication and teamwork, as they are the key to quality, excellence, and an engaging life.
Global Vision U18 European Championship Women 2010 is a competition of athletic excellence and sportsmanship, dedicated to young women who have adopted basketball and sport in general as their most treasured lifestyle.
Eighteen teams from Europe including Israel took part in the 2010 edition of basket U18 European Championship. The competition has a half-century history dating back to 1965, when Sofia (Bulgaria) hosted the first women U18 basket championship. The championship is organized by FIBA Europe and FRB.
Romanian Basketball Federation (FRB) was founded in 1931 and contributes to the development of basketball in Romania. Global Vision supports FRB’s projects, as we consider that FRB’s vision and tangible actions are essential to creating the mindset of the accomplished sportsman and the future leader.
