FAN Courier is a private enterprise founded in 1998 by three entrepreneurs who dared to dream that they can build the No. 1 courier company in Romania. In 2008, FAN Courier invested €9,000,000 with the aim of consolidating the business, while in 2010, in spite of economic turmoil, it maintained its human and fleet resources and invested €11,000,000 in employee training, fleet maintenance and in a fully automated package sorting facility.

Consistent with its business strategy, FAN Courier intended to open a new logistics center that could serve the western part of Romania, one of the most economically dynamic regions. To accomplish its objective, FAN Courier needed to partner with a solid real estate developer, who had proven expertise in industrial and mixed-use building construction.

Current and former clients recommended Global Vision as a reliable company with outstanding achievements. As a result, the contract for developing a turn-key project, comprising a warehouse, a service facility and an office area was entrusted to Global Vision.

Global Vision’s involvement started with land development, i.e. market research, site selection, feasibility studies, entitlements, land acquisition, and infrastructure development. The next stage consisted in the actual construction and civil engineering, where Global Vision’s experienced engineers undertook the project design, supervised the construction’s execution and paid close attention to details, while simultaneously acting as construction project managers.

After 6 months of work, Global Vision was able to deliver a turn-key facility, which totaled 3,100 sqm and an investment of €1,000,000.

Since Global Vision offers property management services to some of the biggest office and mixed-use buildings in Romania, FAN Courier authorized it to assume property and facility management tasks and activities: cleaning services, technical maintenance and security & access control management.
